école.mu exists because finding the right school, tutor, or activity in Mauritius has always depended on who you know. A parent whose child is sitting PSAC needs to compare dozens of secondary schools across four zones — but there is no single place to do it. A family moving back to the island researches private schools through Facebook groups and WhatsApp threads. A student looking for tuition in mathematics for HSC has to call around blindly. That gap is what école.mu closes.

We built a free, comprehensive directory so that every Mauritian family — regardless of where they live or who they know — has the same clear picture of what is available.

école.mu covers education providers at every level — free and paid:

• Primary schools — State, grant-aided, and private primary schools, with details on curriculum, languages offered, and contact information.
• Secondary schools — All state, grant-aided, and private secondary schools, from Grade 7 to HSC. Each profile shows the zone, gender policy, optional languages, and contact details, so families preparing for MES seat allocation or private admission have the facts they need in one place.
• Tertiary institutions — Universities, colleges, and higher education establishments in Mauritius, both public and private.
• Technical and vocational schools — TVET institutions, professional training centres, and skills programmes for students pursuing trades and vocational qualifications.
• Studies abroad — Universities and programmes overseas that accept Mauritian students, with guidance on entry requirements and application pathways.
• Tutoring and extra-curricular activities — Private tuition, tuition centres, sports academies, music schools, coding camps, and every structured activity that supports a child's learning and development.

Listing on école.mu is free for providers. We believe that access to clear, unbiased information about education options should not come at a cost — to the schools that list, or to the families who search. Our goal is to be the most complete and most trusted education directory in Mauritius.
